Ideal for cocktail events, Ambar Lounge is a retro inspired function room fitted with couches, booths and mood lighting for a stylish underground event.
The Balcony Ballroom is an elegant and stunning room for many occasions and can be transformed into many settings such as weddings, engagement parties, birthday and cocktail parties in addition to networking events, product launches and corporate presentations.
Balcony Ballroom offers high ceilings, beautiful chandeliers, two open fireplaces, external balcony’s and a glassed atrium overlooking King William St, which makes for a wonderful backdrop to any event.
The Ambassadors Hotel main bar, the Marble Bar, is styled with an old European cigar bar look, complete with wooden accents, leather sofas, interesting artwork and appropriate mood lighting. This space is perfect for group dinners and smaller networking events.

Hidden away at the back of the Ambassadors Hotel on Waymouth Place is our all Australian liquor bar; Thrift Shop Bar. Thrift Shop Bar has been built, fitted out and decorated with our fabulous Thrift Shop finds, along with items sourced from salvage yards, garage sales, grandma's house, side of the road, whatever 'junk' that we can find and turn into something special.
This space is perfect for people who are looking for a unique venue with great cocktails that no guest will be quick to forget.

Television, stereo speakers, microphone and party lights are all included in the room hire. Projector & projector screen is available on request, any other AV equipment can be arranged by the venue at an extra charge.
A variety of catering options are available, please contact the venue to discuss what is most suitable for your event.
While there is a loading zone at the front and back of the building, the hotel does not have parking for guests. We recommend Topham Mall uPark on Waymouth Street where we are able to offer discounted exit passes at $20
